The year began with our documentary film, “Alex Staniforth – Icefall, Spirit of the Mountain” receiving its premier at the prestigious international Llanberis Adventure and Mountain Film Festival. We’ve worked on the project for 2 years, fitting it in and around other work to produce a 30 minute film that tells the story of a local hero who has achieved national recognition for his incredible feats of endurance and charity fundraising.
Prolific North Awards 2017
Next we heard that we made the shortlist of 8 production companies for “Independent Production Company of the Year at the Prolific North Awards, alongside some of the leading lights in broadcast TV production. To cap it all, for our core corporate film work we are now officially on the Recommended Agency Register, having been commended by our clients for the quality of our creative work and production process.
And finally, Sea Wall, our filmed drama collaboration with Tony and Olivier award winning playwright Simon Stephens and the brilliant Andrew Scott (of Sherlock, Spectre and Hamlet fame) landed the Director’s Choice Award and received a warm ovation from a rapt and knowledgeable audience at Manchester’s IndieFlicks film festival.
We’re not traditionally award seekers – but winning them is great!
