A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME  Socially Distanced Video Production for Cheshire West & Chester Council

For the last 4 years or so we have worked closely with Cheshire West & Chester Council to help document their ongoing work preserving and restoring the City’s unique walls.

From skilled stone masons using techniques unchanged for centuries to advanced civil engineering, employing remote surveying and monitoring equipment or drone photogrammetry, our job is to tell the story in a way that engages people and makes them more aware of the heritage that is woven into the fabric of Chester.

Collaboration and communication are essential, as is a sense of humour. Sometimes you can be working in tough conditions and it’s a stark reminder of what it must have been like for the thousands of Roman centurions who occupied this city at the very edge of their Empire, building defences and monuments that survive intact to this day.
